Mу mom wаntѕ mе tο try іt. Shе heard more gοοd reviews thаn bаd. Bυt i know іt wont work forever ѕο imma υѕе Proactive until ѕhе саn take mе tο a dermatologist.(wе′re both really busy tο i hаνе tο wait a whіlе)
whаt dіd іt dο fοr уουr skin?
hοw long dіd іt take tο work?
i think it all depends on what skin type you have. i had really oily skin and only a few days after using proactive, it was 10 times worse. the medicine was so strong that it made my face red and irritated AND it didnt get any better. I know a lot of people who have used it, but i dont know one person who has kept it.
it did like very little, at least, less than what they said.
Like now ugly acne scars instead….lame
okay i dont really break out i get like one people every month but i used proactive onece and it made me break out so bad it was sad. lol
well my gf uses it and it helps her alot. shit it helped jessica simpson too… but really it helps my gf alot and makes her skin nice and shinny. shes been using it for like 2 or 3 years now.
wahahaha
it dried up my skin like CRAZY. you have nooo idea. hmm…
there is of course a purge period with proactiv where the acne is supposed to get worse and then its supposed to get better but my skin never really got better.
:/
it might work for you though- products work differently from person 2 person
Proactiv has worked for me better than anything else, including prescription medications from the dermatologist. It didn’t take very long to start working; from what I recall, I saw improvement within the first month. It gave my skin a nice, smooth texture and appearance and was very effective in preventing even the smallest blemishes. The occasional zit would slip in, but it was only when I was under a lot of stress and not getting enough sleep. If your skin is sensitive and dry, you can cut back and use Proactiv every other day and maybe just use the glycolic toner at night – whatever works best for you. You need to be consistent with it, but you can tailor it somewhat to suit your skin type. Hope it works for you, too!
i used it for awhile but it really didn’t do anything. like i already have Pretty clear skin just pimples every once and awhile. but i would say DOT USES IT!!! b/c it is just like a face mate like sometimes it cleans ur face and appears clear. but when you stop you well just Barack out. so it is addicting. my Friend cant get off of it b/c if she dose her skin get really horrible but right now i am using this Amazing face wash and it is working alot better for me then any other face wash i tried. it is a all Natural face wash that i got from Henry’s. like it is Amazing! well i forgot what its called. but i can email it to you twomoro or something. but no face wash can clear it 100% its just manley ur diet. but WATER!!!!! drink lots of water! omg it is Amazing like when i drink coke the next day i have a pimple, but i can get ride of it in like a day with just drink tuns of water! so i would say don’t uses proactive and uses this face wash and drink lots of water. but i eat all kinds of shit and my face dosent breakout from that only from coke =[ but water gets it to clear up. so i can like email or tomorrow i can Edit my answerer and tell you whats it called.
For me it worked BAD BAD BAD.
My skin started drying out i was very embarrassed front of my friends and other people.
It only worked on some people.
But MORE people find proactiv BULLSHIT.
Answer mine please?

Honestly I have heard that it is a waste of money. I believe over the counter soaps and creams will work. However, those are expensive too. If you are seriouls about getting rid of your acne, control your diet, drink plenty of water, and incorporate coconut oil in your diet.
Coconut oil is cheap and does not dry out your skin.
good luck!
didn’t work for me. didn’t really reduce acne, and the scars are always still there. oh and it’s expensive, too, so you don’t want to waste that much money.
i just like using a mixture of products. no pre-combined full set of products can cover all of your skin’s needs–you’re different from everyone else. pick and choose a soap, a moisturizer, an exfoliant, a toner, and an acne cream that works for you, and mix-and-match things.
