Whats the best solution to acne breakouts?
Fοr thе mοѕt раrt, I hаνе pretty clear skin. I οnlу gеt acne іn spefic spots, mostly іn thе T-Zone (nose аnd above eyebrow area) аnd whеn I dο іtѕ οnlу one οr two pimples. Dοеѕ anyone hаνе аnу remedies fοr thе occasional pimple? I’ve heard tooth paste works, bυt іt аlѕο dries out thеn skin ѕο…

for the acne spots: use treatment gels that contain sacylic acid. they help clear pores. you can also try zeno (its at walgreens) but zeno is expensive (about $140).
for the blackheads: go to walmart or target and buy an astrigent or toner. it is that liquid stuff in the bottles. (Clean and Clear works good)
other than that, there is nothing you can really do.. you just have to let it run its course.
Exfoliate dead skin cells daily. Find out if you have any skin allergies too.
try to avoid oily foods for the pimple
try a stem bath for the balckheads and pop them out
Try Proactiv, its expensive, but works really really well!
i have the exact same skin and breakout cycle……. you’re screwed….. i have tried everything and i still get the same few pimples every month, then they clear up for a few weeks and it starts over… every month.
washing your face in the morning and night helps.
drinking lots of water helps.
using expensive products help
but nothing stops it…. sorry, at 20 years old i only hope i grow out it in a few years
Extraction (I don’t mean popping) is the fastest.
Zeno works but only on those new ones. Not very good once they get full blown.
Prevention is with products which contain 2%-5% Salicylic Acid.
