okay! i don’t know if u can go to a dr. but as for benzaclin! it is absolutely amazing. I gave it to my best friend who has had acne for 19 years. she used it for 4 days. it cleared up. I went to a dermatologist and this is what he recommended me. it’s amazing.
the sun
alcohol face wash (e.g. neutrigena (sp))
vitamin C and zinc
all of the above on a regular basis

lemons
TCP. Apply it to the acne infected area 3 times a day. It should clear up within a few days. If that doesn’t work then try only drinking water to clear out all the toxins in your system, you need to drink about 2 litres (8 pints) of water a day, but this can take several weeks to completely clear acne, although the difference will be noticeable after a few days. Also try cutting greasy and fattening foods out of your diet as they can create more grease to clog up your pores. If all that fails then you may have a hormone imbalance, in which case you should go to the doctors and they’ll prescribe something suitable, but you must take it religiously for it to work. Good luck!
Just keep your face clean. Don’t wear makeup, especially foundation (EW). Scrub and exfoliate your face daily and use natural moisturizers that don’t have a bunch of artificial crap (like acrylics – a known carcinogen and primary ingredient in lots of skin care products) in them. Also avoid harsh drying soaps and facial washes.
And yes, moisturizers help. A lot of acne problems come from having dry skin, and your skin compensates for the dryness by producing more oils which clog your pores. If you use an astringent or soap, always follow up with a moisturizer. If you get a nasty large boil forming, you can head it off with some drying soap or some of the acne creams available, but only apply it to the affected spot, not your whole face.
