What are some good over the counter medicine for older acne scars?

If you go to Walmart or Fred’s they have skin bleaching cream and an acne scar removal kit from anywhere from a $5 cream to a kit for like $25.It really does work ,but make sure you moisturize after treatment.
You should try a TCA peel that you can buy on ebay (cheap, about $25) or get done at a spa (expensive, hundreds of dollars).
Make sure you start with low 8%, 12% amounts of TCA because anything more might be too strong for your skin. You will need about a week of recovery because your skin will peel like a sunburn for several days, but when it comes off the skin underneath will be very smooth and red marks will be faded.

If you have indent marks in your skin you can try the TCA cross method, where you dip a toothpick into 50% or greater TCA and press it into the indented areas of the skin and wash after it "frosts". These areas in the following months will build up collagen, filling the hole and making it so much less visible permanently. TCA cross pictures:

Do your research before you buy!!! Recovery can be long and complicated if you don’t know what you are doing, but this is the best way to get rid of scars that I know of!
