Ok...I'll give you the benefit of my seven years experience of acne! Diet and hygiene play a big role. As far as food goes, different things trigger it for different people - for me its strawberries, cheese and sugar!!! Wash your face at least twice a day and whatever you do use non-comedogenic moisturiser or sun-screen in the summer such as Vichy normaderm or La Roche Posay sunblock. If these are too expensive, try Clean and Clear morning glow moisturiser.
As far as acne-busting products go, nothing ever works the way its supposed to! However, cleansers such as Clearasil and Clean and Clear can help but only after several weeks of consistent use will you see an improvement. Stick with it! If your acne is really bothering you, you should go see your doctor and get some oral antibiotics which is what pretty much sorted me out.
Also, if you have a tendency to touch your face during the day, even things such as resting your face in your hand spreads bacteria from your fingers to your face causing spots. Make sure your hair is kept squeaky-clean too and off your face when you sleep. If you do get the odd spot, sudocream should help get rid of it faster!!! Hope I've helped...

Proactive Solution is awesome. My ex husband used it and it cleared up his acne. He has a dimply face because it was so bad. Also a teenage neighbor of mine used it. She had some huge zits( I know gross, but its the truth). I hadn't seen her for awhile and her face was beautiful. I asked her what she did and she used the stuff. I think it is 19.95. Good luck
