So when im taking my acne medicine my skin gets UNBEARABLY dry. How can i prevent this? Everytime i start my acne medication i quit after a couple weeks because i couldnt take the dry skin. But this time i want to successfully complete the treatment but i know there has to be a way for me to reduce the dryness of my skin

My doctor just switched me to using something called erythromycin and benzoyl I believe and now my skin is really dry and flaky. She told me it would be like this, but that I shouldn’t use any moisturizer. My acne has pretty much cleared up but I really can’t stand the dry skin (I’d almost rather have a little acne) Is there anything I can do to get rid of the dry skin and still keep using the treatment? Is it okay to use a little moisturizer or can I use sunblock or something to get rid of the flaky skin? Thanks!

I have had moderate acne that has recently settled down after I started taking Epiduo. While my skin is noticeably clearer, i still have little red dots where my acne once was. I was told these were scars, and eventually they started to go away. However, sometimes (because of allergies, dry skin, sunburn, etc.) my face will become itchy, red and these scars will flare up. What is causing this and how can I get rid of it?

Okay so first you should know is that I have VERY sensitive skin. If I eat the wrong food, use the wrong product… I get pimples or dry skin. I’ve solved my dry skin problem… but not my acne problem. My pimples range from little to about a large-medium. And I get them a lot at once, on mostly between the eyebrows, or the forehead. And they’re red, and occasionally big enough to pop.I’ve tried clean and clear, Clinique acne wash, and prescription medication. Any product suggestions that would work for my type of acne?

i had a really bad breakout that lasted for a few months. I finally bought some acnefree at wal-mart. It cleared my skin up, but now i have really dry skin and wrinkles on my forehead. Is this temporary or are the wrinkles permanent?

i had serious dry skin as a little girl and i have been using clean and clear foaming facial wash and it breaks me out in pimples instead of the other way around .i get blotchy and irritated skin and its annoying im also 14 can you PLEASE help me?

looking for any acne products that people would recomend for normal-dry skin. not a sevre case of acne just the few random breakouts… looking for something that will help alot by september 4th.

Thank you

i just recently bought the Oxy Soap, and face scrub, and it is really drying out my skin. so i was wondering if it would be ok if i put lotion on the area that i put the medicine on, to get rid of the dry skin.

I have dry skin, and nothing seems to work on my acne. Do you have any tips?
Thanks!
