I am a 30 yr old female with combination/oily skin. i have never had problems with acne in the past other than an occasional pimple here and there. i have tried neutrogena, which is said to be better than proactiv, but it doesn’t work, and it over dries my skin. i usually break out around my chin, and on either side of my nose. these originate from under the skin. i need a remedy. any dermatologists out there with suggestions? anyone?

I have moderate acne with some scarring and ive tried everything from proactiv (which dries out my skin) to rentin a micro ( which also dries out my skin), i need something diffferent can anyone suggest anything really really good that works.

Okay, if i apply my acne treatment at night, then put on a moisturizer right after, will the moisturizer affect my acne treatment???
also, if i shouldn’t do this, would it be okay if i applyed the acne treatment at night, then the moisturizer in the morning? (the acne treatment dries out my skin a bit but it still works.)

I’ve been using using Neutrogena Skin ID for about half a year and it’s making my acne better then how it used to be, but I’m still getting some pimples. Plus it dries out my skin and when i treat a pimple with it , it causes an acne scar.
So would Burt’s Bee acne products be better? (It’s been getting lots of good reviews.)

I am currently using ProActive but it sometimes dries my face out. I don’t have bad acne but i do get occasionaly zits/pimples on my face once in a while. Now my face is breaking out because i think im stresseed out because my dance preformance and and my school dance is comming up and i have my high school dance team tryouts all in the same week! What should i use??

I have an issue with acne…do you know of acne medicine(s) that works really well….I like Clean and Clear, myself…but does something work better?? I have really oily skin….so it’s okay if it dries out….

Does salicylic acid work better than benzoyl peroxide?????

whats the best acne product u’ve used? not like one thats super expensive though. mine works really well, but it dries my skin badly so i cant use it very often. and my skin is oily if i dont. nothing else seems to work either. thanks in advance!!! =]

I have moderate acne. it is very noticable and is getting on my nerves. I Have tried proactive and it didnt work for me I need a really effective cream or something that can be bought at like CVS or walgreens that wont dry my skin out. Even a home remedy (not toothpaste). I have really sensitive skin that dries out easily. BUT I NEED THIS ACNE TO GO AWAY!! Thanks!

i just bought clinique acne solition and some people say it dries there skin out so i was wondering if there was a way i could still use it without rying my skin like if i used the clarifying lotion only twice a week or something? and i also bought the clarifing powder. will that just dry my skin out to?

For the most part, I have pretty clear skin. I only get acne in spefic spots, mostly in the T-Zone (nose and above eyebrow area) and when I do its only one or two pimples. Does anyone have any remedies for the occasional pimple? I’ve heard tooth paste works, but it also dries out then skin so…

Home remidies and store bought products are what I’m looking for, nothing that requires a dermatologist or a prescription please!

And does anyone know any way to prevent/get rid of those annoying blackheads? I always have them on my nose…
