I am in search of a good acne treatment kit for sensitive skin. I cannot use benzoyl peroxide products, as I have an allergy to them. I would prefer a kit that isn’t loaded with parabens and other harsh chemicals. I’ve found that the less chemicals there are in the products I use on my skin, the better. Any suggestions on kits containing a cleanser, moisturizer, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
My acne is mild to moderate.

I know it’s different for everyone, but I guess I’d like to see what works for most people. Just to see if trying something different would help my skin.

Do you use products/systems such as ProActive, SkinID, Acne Free..?
Do you mix products from neutrogena, clean and clear, etc?

And also for active ingredients, do you use only salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide? or do you use both?

Thank you!

~ Benzoyl peroxide dramatically increases the risk of skin cancer.
~ Salicylic acid dramatically increases the risk of skin cancer.
~ Glycolic acid dramatically increases the risk of skin cancer.
~ Skin cancer rates have almost tripled in the last thirty years.
~ The age of first onset of skin cancer continues to drop.
~ Billions of gallons of sunblock has NOT reduced skin cancer rates – these rates continue to skyrocket and the age of first onset continues to decline. In addition, children spend less time outdoors than any previous generation.

These products dramatically increase skin cancer, is that an acceptable risk for you?

If not, should this information be on the products so you can make a choice?

I’m allergic to benzoyl peroxide, so it can’t contain that. Pleaseee help me.

I was prescribed 2 medicines for acne treatment, one is Benzoyl Peroxide Wash 10% and Erythromycin Topical Solution USP 2% and i want to know which one do i apply first?? They did not tell me which one goes first. The Benzoyl Peroxide Wash 10% is like a cream sort of thing and the Erythromycin is like an alcohol substance but im not sure it just looks like it….so if someone could please tell me which one goes first i would really appreciate it!! Thanks!

Hi everyone. I’m almost 14 years old and have a little problem with my skin. My skin is oily. It tends to breakout almost every day. My face is also red in some places. I would love to use an acne medication to get rid of these problems. However, I am allergic to benzoyl peroxide, so I can’t use ProActiv. What products would you reccommend?

I feel like products have a lot of useless chemicals, but i’m not sure. So would benzoyl peroxide by itself be better than the other products drug stores sell?
Well there’s also Erythromycin added in

ok so in the 7th grade my uncle who is a pediatrician suggested i use benzoyl peroxide acne treatment and i have used it for a year now and my skin hasnt made a dramatic change..im thinking about using satalystic acid or however u spell it. what do u think?

My son has pretty bad acne but is allergic to benzoyl peroxide. Can you suggest any good products out there that don’t contain it?
