I feel like I have tried everything, including baby powder, various acne treatments, and now proactiv. The pimples are leaving behind awful scars and I don’t know what to do.
Also, the Proactiv toner is stinging and burning pretty badly. It is also making the skin that is not infected red. Is this normal?

I was wondering if for the first time, do you apply it while its still cold?

Also, this question is generally for all acne treatments that dry out your skin. I am going to Cuba next week and I know after using these products you aren’t supposed to go in the sun too much cause your skin is so sensitive, so what do I do? I don’t want to be burnt, will just regular sun screen protect my skin while using this medicine?

I’ve used Proactive and Duac Topical Gel but they’ve both proved uneffective. I’ve hear Exposed Acne treatments are good and that prescribed medicines are the best, but I prefer over the counter stuff.
