I am 21 searching for the best skin-care product for my acne-prone skin. I have tried many prescription drugs for my skin, and over the counter treatments, none of them seemed to please me. I am looking for something that will deliver dramatic results, and even erase the scars that my acne has left behind. I have tried just about all of the prescription methods except acutan. The over the counter methods include Neutragena on-the-spot treatment, clearsil, nothing too fancy.
I have oily skin in the summer and dry in the winter. I only break out in the summer. Winter- not so much. I’ve tried almost every drugstore products including Murad. Nothing seems to work. i need help finding the right product for my skin. Any suggestions on good skin products for acne-prone skin?
I need to zap my zits soon! Have you had any personal experiences with a GREAT acne product (not over-the-counter)? I have oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. HELP!
i don’t want to invest in murad or proactive, and i don’t want to go to a derm. what is a good acne product that has a good result for oily, acne-prone skin…with moderate-severe acne
I’m looking for a spot treatment over the counter that will quickly get rid of pimples and also get rid of the scabs/scars left behind.
I have oily, acne prone skin.
Thanks!
I have oily acne prone skin. I have been treating it with Retin-A Micro .1% for the past few weeks. As a result, my skin gets pretty dry around the nose and mouth.
I have been using Neutrogena for sensitive skin as a moisturizer (I also have it with SPF). I’ve heard from lots of people and a dermatologist that this is a pretty good moisturizer. But it stings my face a little. Can anyone recommend a moisturizer that won’t do this with the Retin-A?
Anytime my face gets wet it gets dry and itchy. I put lotion on but it just leaves my skin oily looking and makes me break out. also i have very sensitive skin, so is there any light moisturizers for acne prone skin, that don’t contain fragrance ?
I always thought that acne is caused by extra oil on face with dirt or bacteria.
Why can’t mild gentle cleanser with oil free lotion work for most people as long as you keep your face clean. What else is causing people acne that you must have the salicylic acid or Benzoyl Peroxide to dry it out?
does it actually have any other advantage to acne-prone skin other than drying it out?
I have fair, somewhat oily, and acne prone skin. I would love a makeup that is very light but still has a full coverage. Do you have any suggestions?
I need one that will get off all make up and wont over dry my skin or break my sensitive acne prone skin out???
