Is tea bags really a way to naturally cure acne?

No. Tea bags do a lot of things (like make a pretty good cup of tea) but they do not cure acne.

um no o-o go see a dermatologist thats what I’m doing =] "Natural" cures do not work.
you blanche it in boiling water with a little salt in the boiling water to get the herbs from the tea back out but not to much so it doesnt boil all the juices away, then rub it on your face. but castor oil works better
I never used tea bags. And i dont think they really work. What i use is this stuff from wal mart. Its called ecne free and a balck head eraser and some neutrogena stuff and my face cleared up fast to> I use them morning and eavining.
Well, i asked my 89 year old grandmother and she says its a old remede that her mother gave her, first you boil the teabag and add about a spoon full of sugar…then you can either use a rag to soak it on your face, but its better to use tea bag…so then you should leave on the acne for a whole minute…. Tea bags have been used for ages, but I believe is to help tired skin. Now ACNE is best removed even more naturally by drinking enough water, eating non-greasy, non-fatty foods, exercising, and keeping good hygiene, especially washing face few times throughout the day, with very little soap.
Actually it has been suggested that it reduces wrinkles and signs of aging, google it and you’ll get lost of results and i read it a while ago in a serious newspaper although i forget which. I didn’t believe it at the time so asked my parents (Who are doctors) and apparently it’s true. But I’m afraid it doesn’t do anything for acne. Acne is best cured by drinking lots of water and seeing a GP
