You’re fine. I do it too. Just use a bit, you don’t want to get it in your eyes. Apply it to a bit of paper towel or cotton ball. The only thing it will do, bad, is dry your skin out. Apply only to the area in which the pimple or black head was.
Sometimes alcohol can be strong for your face, but at 70%, you’re okay. It’ll dry up the spot along with disinfecting it so it may look dry. What you done was actually probably a pretty good idea, but I do know that you shouldn’t use alcohol on your face too often. Like I said, it has a strong drying effect.
Your second poster is correct. If you have fairly oily skin it won’t cause harm, but if your skin tends to be dry you should probably use a toner on your skin. Also, the most important thing you can do is be sure you wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before you squeeze any sort of zit. Generally if you get a little irritated or even infected place it’s because your hands or nails weren’t clean!
