How to cure acne?
I know thеrе аrе a lot οf threads οn thіѕ topic already bυt more hеlр wουld bе grеаt. Mу acne іѕ nοt horrible bυt іt dοеѕ bug mе ѕο i wουld really lіkе tο gеt rid οf іt…јυѕt lіkе еνеrу οthеr teen іn thе world. I hаνе tried numerous over thе counter washes including stridex, clearasil, etc. Thеn i tried AcneFree(A cheap proactiv). Still nο results. Sο i wеnt tο a dermatoligist аnd i currently аm prescribed minocycline, differin, аnd triaz οr oscion cleanser. Thеѕе hаνе hеlреd bυt mу acne still persists. Sο i read something аbουt apple cider vinegar аnd ѕtаrtеd thаt a few days ago. I drink 2 tbs οf ACV dilluted іn water 3 times a day аnd thеn apply ACV topically twice daily. Sο….dοеѕ anyone hаνе аnу οthеr home remedies thаt work οr аnу suggestions? I hаνе heard honey аnd cinnamon іѕ a gοοd paste tο concoct аnd apply before bed? Thx fοr уουr hеlр
Be consistent with a well known acne cleanser.
The products you are using, are they Salsylic Acid or Benzoyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! Try finding a face lotion with SA in it. Clean and Clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. It is only about $5 a bottle and lasts about 2 months and you can get it at your local store. I have used this in the past and it works well. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face.
Personally, Proactive didn’t work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. I use Biore Ice Cleanser and warming facial scrub every morning. And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working! Good Luck!
you just have to wash your face with warm water and soap 3 times a day every week..don’t use lotion right after you do that!!
i dont really no anything about the apple cider stuff and everything like that but i really think you should try proactive…it really works
First, you must have a really good cleanser. I recommend Johnson & Johnson. Its great. The vinegar thing worked well for me! Accept I didn’t use apple cider vinegar. I heard baking soda and water really works good if you mix it in a paste and use it as a mask. Try to not touch your face alot. See, I have problems with this. Also 2.5% benzoyl peroxide should be the highest percentage you should use of it. But since you already have prescribed meds from ur doctor you don’t have to worry about it. I’ve never heard about the cinnamon and honey so you could try that. Also make sure you have alot of Vitamin A. Its good for your skin as well as drinking of plenty of water. The more u drink water the more you urinate & thats the more toxins that come out of your body which is good for your skin. Try this! But everyones skin is different. So I don’t know if it’ll work for everyone.
Acne prone skin is not a small matter and please do consider seriously about using this particular brand. As it has proven effective for many acne prone skin. I’m not sure about home remedy as you need to heal the skin in no time.

Hey there. I’m 19 and yea i was suffereing from mild acne myself. To know how to cure acne it is important to know what causes acne. Basically, the pores get clogged by dirt, hence natural oils cannot be supplied through those holes. oil collects and bacteria forms.
So what you gotta try to do is "Get rid of the dirt before it blocks your pores"
1. Wash 3-4 times a day. 4 if you have oil skin. use a daily scrub. I use clean and clear blackhead removal.
2. Use a good herbal mask. I use Himalayas Neem/Turmeric mask which has antibacterial properties.
3. Try not to touch your face cuz that will transfer the dirt from your hands to your face.
4. Also, before you clean your face or apply mask always remember to wash your hands before you apply anything on your face.
5. Exercise. It doesn’t have to be anything to strenuous. You could go for a brisk 10 minute walk (maybe on your way to work or home from school?) just opens your pores and helps your skin "breathe" because of hte sweating. Just make sure to clean you face often cuz you dont’ want to sweat to stay long.
