Drinking water. Lots of it.

The daily recommended intake is 2000ml. When you use the toilet to pee it all out you're removing all the toxins from your body. Just google it/do some research on it yourself and you'll understand more. I really really recommend it. It's much more natural than putting tons of products that claim to remove spots on your face.

I've never really had bad skin but when I was like 14-15 my skin wasn't great then I started drinking more water and eating my 5 a day and now I dont even get the occasional spot. It sounds almost too simple but it's actually not that easy. It's really difficult drinking so much water if you're not used to it at first.

& btw 5-a-day is eating 5 fruits/vegetables a day. It's something NHS promoted in the UK and I think they do it in New Zealand too.

So drink more water, eat 5 fruits a day and more healthily. It would also help if you found a mild face wash and cream/moisturiser for your face, not necessarily for spots. I recommend vitamin E oil. It's amazing for skin and if you're worried about scarring then it's definitely for you but it's quite expensive for just a 50ml bottle. If you find it's too expensive then get almond oil, or even just baby oil. Using oils as a moisturiser actually doesn't make your face oily or greasy; it totally depends on how much you use so don't use a lot.

Hope I helped!

I have noticed after using a product for awhile my skin gets used to it an it doesn't work as well. I suggest that you switch to a different acne product for awhile or maybe use oxy and another one. I use clearasil ultra 4 hour vanishing cream. Good luck

Sometimes we want miracles when it comes to acne. Wash your face regularly and try using CLEAN & CLEAR ADVANTAGE ACNE SPOT TREATMENT. This should help you. If your problem persists, try going to a dermatologist. I went to one and i had no insurance. I was able to pay it by myself when i was 17. So if you have to save up and make an see a dermatologist. Of course you will have to do exactly as they say which is not difficult and you will notice lasting results. Good luck ;)

Yes, they will go away on their own, just don't make them mad. I used to say that I didn't want to pop them because "they'll come back with an army!" Yep. It's true. Unless you want MORE zits than you started with, I suggest you leave them alone.

First, start drinking more water! That worked for me, and I'm a girl. Your mom has a point though. If you leave them alone now, your acne can get a chance to calm down and shrink. Soon you'll have skin as smooth as a baby's. Here's what I did:

-Drink LOTS of water (if that's not your thing, just drink kool-aide)
-Eat right. Eat a couple of baby-carrots or grapes when you come home from school.
-Sleep! (at least 9 hrs.) This'll be your excuse to mom for sleeping in til 2pm.
-If you must, get a face cleanser. Any kind you like. One that doesn't irritate your skin though. Wash in the morning and at night before bed. You might also want to use a moisturizer afterward to keep your skin hydrated.
-Finally...Don't touch your face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay Away From The Following:
-Excessive amounts of SALT
-Oil
-Raisins
-Waffles
-Rice
-Potatoes
-Peanuts [it's the reason i can't eat peanut butter anymore :( ]
-Watermelon
HIGH-GLYCEMIC FOODS LIKE THESE LEAD TO SLOWER HEALING TIME FOR ACNE.

Eat Plenty Of These:
-Tomatoes
-Pasta
-Cucumbers
-Eggplant (yuck)
-Oranges
-Grapefruit
-Artichokes
-Cherries
-Grapes!!!! (told ya)
FOR A CLEAR COMPLECTION STICK TO LOW-GLYCEMIC FOODS LIKE THESE.

[I found this list of foods in a magazine I read. I've kept it on my fridge ever since]

By the way, it should take you about 1 to 2 weeks for your body to get used to it, and to clear up your acne. Yay!

It's really easy to sit around and hope that your acne will just go away on its own. Unfortunately, for most of us this isn't the case. You have to proactive and work to get your acne to go away. If this sounds like your situation, get out there and do something about it. You may not see results right away, but any step you take to clear your skin is one step closer to getting it cleared up, and feeling way better about your appearance.

The key to achieving clear skin is to take a two prong approach. First step is to eat a good diet. This may sound obvious, but it is essential to clearing your skin. Avoid junk food, fast food, sugar, and excessive carbohydrates. Cutting the amount of meat that you eat will also help clear your face up. Switch it up and base your diet around fruit, vegetables, nuts, and real home-cooked food. Your drink of choice should be water. Water will flush out the toxins that the bad food put into your body. Hydrated skin is far less likely to clog, than the oily skin that most of us have.

The second step to clearing your skin is to use an acne treatment. It doesn't really matter what the treatment is, the important thing is that you stick to it. If you keep jumping from treatment to treatment, you'll never get the kind of results you'll get from picking one and sticking to it. The multi-step treatments, like Acne Free and Proactiv, are great choices for long term skin care. Using these products until your skin has totally cleared up will allow you to gradually step down to just a face wash program to keep your skin clear.

If you want clear skin, you will have to do some work to achieve it. I'm sure that's not the news that you wanted to hear, but it's an unfortunate truth. Clear your skin by eating good, home-cooked food, drinking water, and sticking to a skin care treatment.
