How long until acne goes away on its own? What is a good acne solution?
Mу mom always tells mе nοt tο pick аt οr pop mу zits, bυt I always dο. Now thаt I’m a teenager though, thеу aren’t аѕ few-аnd-far between, ѕο I саn’t pop/pick thеm аll without risking acne scarring. Of course, thаt bears thе qυеѕtіοn- іf I don’t pick thеm, wіll thеу јυѕt… gο away οn thеіr οwn? Or… whаt?
Alѕο, Oxy pads hаνе worked fοr mе іn thе past, bυt thеу aren’t working аѕ well аѕ I’d lіkе now. Anу suggestions?
Drinking water. Lots of it.
The daily recommended intake is 2000ml. When you use the toilet to pee it all out you’re removing all the toxins from your body. Just google it/do some research on it yourself and you’ll understand more. I really really recommend it. It’s much more natural than putting tons of products that claim to remove spots on your face.
I’ve never really had bad skin but when I was like 14-15 my skin wasn’t great then I started drinking more water and eating my 5 a day and now I dont even get the occasional spot. It sounds almost too simple but it’s actually not that easy. It’s really difficult drinking so much water if you’re not used to it at first.
& btw 5-a-day is eating 5 fruits/vegetables a day. It’s something NHS promoted in the UK and I think they do it in New Zealand too.
So drink more water, eat 5 fruits a day and more healthily. It would also help if you found a mild face wash and cream/moisturiser for your face, not necessarily for spots. I recommend vitamin E oil. It’s amazing for skin and if you’re worried about scarring then it’s definitely for you but it’s quite expensive for just a 50ml bottle. If you find it’s too expensive then get almond oil, or even just baby oil. Using oils as a moisturiser actually doesn’t make your face oily or greasy; it totally depends on how much you use so don’t use a lot.

this helps everyone i tell. ok so get some oat meal. just plain old oat meal. heat it up until it has a thick kind of doughy texture. you dont have to but i do, put this stuff called witch hazel its a skin astringent. you should have it all gone by 3 days(if you keep it up). trust me this works for everyone that i have told. but you must follow this to get the skin you have wanted since forever so i cant say hope this helps because i know that it will so byeee
I have noticed after using a product for awhile my skin gets used to it an it doesn’t work as well. I suggest that you switch to a different acne product for awhile or maybe use oxy and another one. I use clearasil ultra 4 hour vanishing cream. Good luck
Sometimes we want miracles when it comes to acne. Wash your face regularly and try using CLEAN & CLEAR ADVANTAGE ACNE SPOT TREATMENT. This should help you. If your problem persists, try going to a dermatologist. I went to one and i had no insurance. I was able to pay it by myself when i was 17. So if you have to save up and make an see a dermatologist. Of course you will have to do exactly as they say which is not difficult and you will notice lasting results. Good luck
Yes, they will go away on their own, just don’t make them mad. I used to say that I didn’t want to pop them because "they’ll come back with an army!" Yep. It’s true. Unless you want MORE zits than you started with, I suggest you leave them alone.
First, start drinking more water! That worked for me, and I’m a girl. Your mom has a point though. If you leave them alone now, your acne can get a chance to calm down and shrink. Soon you’ll have skin as smooth as a baby’s. Here’s what I did:
-Drink LOTS of water (if that’s not your thing, just drink kool-aide)
-Eat right. Eat a couple of baby-carrots or grapes when you come home from school.
-Sleep! (at least 9 hrs.) This’ll be your excuse to mom for sleeping in til 2pm.
-If you must, get a face cleanser. Any kind you like. One that doesn’t irritate your skin though. Wash in the morning and at night before bed. You might also want to use a moisturizer afterward to keep your skin hydrated.
-Finally…Don’t touch your face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-Potatoes
-Peanuts [it's the reason i can't eat peanut butter anymore

-Cucumbers
-Eggplant (yuck)
-Oranges
-Grapefruit
-Artichokes
-Cherries
-Grapes!!!! (told ya)
