How does Proactive compare to other acne products?

My friend uses Neutrogena Advanced Solutions and says it works just as well, if not better than ProActive. I found myself in love with DDF so I haven’t tried it myself, but she says it fights acne faster and gentler than Proactive did and was a lot cheaper.
ProActive didn’t work well for me, it made my skin red, itchy and blotchy. It got rid of the acne, but at the expense of looking like I’d been attacked with sandpaper. It was way too rough on my skin, I ended up giving it away to a friend.
i suffered from really bad acne, and i just got proactiv and it works so good, honestly my face cleared up right away .
just a warning, as soon as you stop using it, you break out like mad, so if you start using it, be sure to get a shipment every month
Proactive has been comparing favourablely well but in recent times, more effective acne products has taken over
