I Know Which Acne Treatment Works...Do You?
ALSO HOW CAN I MAKE MY PORES SMALLER????
Okay… to clear up your skin the most significant thing that will noticiably clear your skin naturally is don’t drink any pop (soda or whatever your area calls it). The Carbon Dioxide will be trapped in your pores and create pimples. Not eating greasy foods helps too, it causes oil on your skin. Lastly try to keep yourself calm, hormones and stress cause acne too.
For smaller pores, try using a thin application of Hydrogen Peroxide to your pores, it will dry them out and shrink them. Some toothpastes also have Hydrogen Peroxide, so you could smear a little toothpaste on your face before bed (just dont forget to wash it off in the morning, i’ve done that before)
I dont know get Proactive its only 40 dollars every 3 months And it works
I had the same question a few years ago when I was having issues with my acne. Use Clean & Clear, it works and it’s good smelling. They have all kinds of things you can use and I personally use all of it just because it does work. I’ve been with clear skin for well over 2 yrs now because of Clean & Clear.
PROACTIV SOLUTION
ppl tell u to use, proactive, clean and clear n etc. buh those things work for some ppl only, it may not work on u, buh its worth trying
Basically you just have to make sure you keep your skin clean. Try using masks and make sure to exfoliate at least twice a week. You can get stuff that will minimize the appearence of pores but you can’t make them smaller.
don’t know how make your pores smaller, but i use lye soap on my face with a medicated moisturizer. i used proactiv for a long time and then it quit working. then i tried clinique face line and that just made things worse. next, i tried arbonne’s acne treatment…still no improvement. my aunt and uncle sent me a bar of lye soap (which lasts forever, i might add) and it’s made more improvement in my face than any of that other stuff in the past year! it sounds like it’d be harsh soap, but it’s really not. you can find online vendors by searching google.com or other search engines. i might add another answer later if i can find the website my aunt and uncle used to get theirs. hope this helps!

this was great me and my buddies try it u wont be disappointed.
truthfully, arm and hammer toothepaste really works
The best thing you can do is exfoliate regularily to remove dead skin cells. This is the number one thing leading to pimples. I used to use a baking soda paste for exfoliation, and follow it up with hydrogen peroxide on a cotton round. The peroxide disolves oil and does not dry the skin out. I used this for years after trying EVERYTHING else. (then I found Proactiv.) I don’t know how to shrink pores, though.
I use neutrogena soap and then I rinse with warm water first and then cold. Make sure you have a good astringement too, I like all neutrogena products and I also used lemons…After I wash my face, I put lemon juice on my face, squeeze some on cotton balls…..
A tea tree face wash, is a natural remedy, they can be bought at any chemist. I recommend tea tree for many uses, the natural oil is excellent for dabbing on spots!!
skin gets messed up because u are clogging ur pores with make up…soap….and all the cleaners out there for pimples…I do not even put a wash cloth to my face..I have flawless skin…people are always saying I have clear skin, and asking HOW?!?..thats how…in shower I take my hands and run it over my face allow PLAIN water to splash on it…yeah shampoo make go over it, if ANY…buts that it..no make up, no soap, no cleaners, and no facials…but you have got to remember ever ones skin is different…
Wipe your face with rubbing alchohol.
All oils will be removed. You may have to do this several times a day, depending on how oily your skin is.
Pores change in size based on the amount of oil and persperation that needs to be released.
use Desitin. yes! diaper rash cream.. it is magic!
Try toothpaste Ive heared this works
put toothpaste on your pores to make them smaller and always clean and moisturize your face
Unfortunately, it can be difficult to get rid of acne and large pores – it is often due to inherited genes or hormone inbalance.
But there is a lot you can do to help!!
Your doc can prescribe tablets to help clear up the acne – I know you say that you don’t want this, but it works for most people and doesn’t have too many side effects. Then you can keep looking after your skin so you don’t need the medication again.
Biggest tip is – keep your skin very CLEAN. Invest in a good, soapless cleanser, and clean your skin gently twice a day. Then apply a light, non-greasy moisturiser with a sun factor of 15, which will protect your skin from sun damage. Some sun is good for acne, but not too much.
Other tips – drink lots of fresh water – warm if you an stand it, about 8 glasses a day plus. This keeps your insides clean and shows on the outside!!
Avoid greasy food (like fry ups) and eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Lots of fresh air and exercise.
The pores will improve too with all of this – and add a toner, just on the enlarged pores. This will tighten them a bit. Almost impossible to get rid completely, but a good face mask once a week and the toner applied every day will help.
Be careful with hydrogen peroxide (which someone recommended) it is bleach – use diluted and sparingly if at all.
Forgot to mention exfoliation – that helps too.
Experiment – everyone’s skin is different.
Hope this helps!!
After washing your face with warm water (to open your pores) take a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and swipe across your skin, then rinse with cool water and use a moisturizer at night because rubbing alcohol can dry out your skin.
you can wash your face with baking soda and water. it really works and it leaves you face super soft. what you do is mix water with baking soda ( more baking soda than water ) and massage onto face. then rinse.
Exfoliate, moisturize, make sure you remove make-up completely, umm.. HOT WATER… I tell you no lie.. it works… try washing your face with really really hot water…Drink lots of water also..and SUNSCREEN!! thats all I can think of right now.. good luck hun
try tooth paste i heard it can work.
Drink lots of water. This sounds strange, but it really helps. Your body needs water for all the complex chemical processes, and to get rid of all the resulting waste products. You should drink water even when you don’t feel thirsty, and instead of soft drinks. This will keep your skin hydrated and looking fresh, and reduce the appearance of your pores. And it’s cheap!
Try fasting. Acne is caused by toxins and fasting is a great way to let the body get rid of them. A one day juice fast once a week cleared up my acne completely.
Anything else I ever tried did nothing, including Pro-active. With fasting you would not be spending money!
Good luck!
Start drinking a lot of water and eating right.
Aloe medicine, and hard soap from Pottery Barn.
if u wash ur face 3 times daily with biore facial products it will work
The best OTC remedy I have used that really works is Epsom Salt. Wash your face, leave it wet and apply the salt in a layer making it stick to your face. It dries, you slough it off and your face will have a residue on it. Sleep with that on and in a few days your face will be clear! Works like a dream!
Try using a facial scrub daily instead of soap.
egg whites will make your pores smaller — a healthy diet will clear up your face — take a daily multivitamin and try to stay away from a lot of breads/starches and don’t eat tons of dairy
Smush up 1 bannana with a tablespoon of honey. Make it sort of lumpy. Try to use natural and organic products.
There is one NATURAL thing to use.
it doesn’t have ingredient that u have to sound out.
it is called WATER. drink lots of it and it cleanses your skin.
don’t eat too many dry things or too much orange juice(w/pulp)because it clogs your skin and it builds up to these small dots called acne.
when i drink orange juice, my skin breaks out a little and itches
Proactiv works, it really does. The cost is worth it.
drink lots of water and cut back on the acidic thigns of life
i use oxy! it works great! just be sure to use it every night before you go to bed!!!! and if that doesn’t work before bed use regular acohol not booze but alcohol from like farmacies just make sure to apply it wth cotton balls and you are good to go… but here is a lil warning if you apply anything (meds) to your face at all that you are not used to then you will break-out for about a week then it will start clearing up real soon!!!
Toothpaste! wash your face and apply a few dabs gently over the area you want cleared up; CAUTION! Do not leave on for more then 10-15 minutes or it may start "burning’ the skin…
try changing your diet and drinking more water…
use natural products
wash your face at least twice a day
don’t touch your face a lot
use speaker telephones whenever possible
when you wash your face gently massage your face with the balls of your fingertips
if you follow this advice you too will have clear skin
Wash your face a couple times a day with a die free soap, something like Ivory. After you wash, set a hot/wet rag on your face and let it sit. While your pores are still open use rubbing alcohol, but only do that once a day.
Unless you have poor hygiene, which I don’t believe you do, you can’t clear your skin naturally. I also wouldn’t reccomend over the counter products, because they’re about hygiene. Most skin conditions are as a result of hormonal activity, vitamin, or mineral deficiency. Even if your overweight, you can be malnourished, if you don’t eat a well balanced diet. 1st adjust your diet, if you have a well balanced diet, have a dermatologist test your hormones and put you on hormone therapy. It can be expensive, but it will definitely work. If you’re lucky, your body might even kick in and adjust its hormone production. I used hormone therapy for a few months and went off for a few months over a two year period. I have clear skin now. Once your pores are enlarged, if you’ve been squeezing pimples, you can’t shrink them.
I have very oily skin, which is acne prone. My secret to glowing skin is…water. When I drink 8-10 glasses a day, my skin glows, my pores shrink and I have little or no acne. In addition, I wash my face every day with gentle soap (Dove) and I exfoliate a couple of times a week. I have found that I have to do all 3 things religiously or I do not have good results. Hopefully you find something that works for you! Good luck!
