I Know Which Acne Treatment Works...Do You?

A precise answer to this question of yours is hard to give
Long before you take it seriously
Perhaps you’ll even forget what you asked
Easy way to find it out right away is:
RE-THINKING of the issue…
Have a nice day!
oooh yeah! it does
My sister said it dident work very well. She still uses it.(because she bought so much)
I used it for a month, but I don’t have bad skin at all. I find that regular products that you buy in the store work just as well.
I have seen such a difference not onlyu in acne reductin but my skin I dunno "glows" I stopped wearing liquid base all together I also reccommend bare escentuals make up it gives that soft glowy look and it’s super easy to put on and you never have to touch it up it’s good stuff
I used it for about 5 – 6 months, and it stopped working for me. A friend used it, and it stopped working for him in 3.
But while it worked, it was worth it.
I tried it like 6 years ago, and it really didn’t do too much for me. You have to realize that there are so many types of acne from mild to moderate and all are associated with different types of skin. There are also forms of acne that will not react to any type of topical (applied to the skin) medications and will only clear with oral medication prescribed by an MD. There are many systems out there to consider, another being Murad – which is Proactiv’s top rival. Every person will react differently to these types of medications, so honestly, you should buy it and see what it does for you. You may have a great result – and hey, if you don’t, they have a 100% money back guarantee.
to each his own. it did not work for me. at all. it dried my skin out and made my acne worse. i had to go to the dermatologist and get doxycycline and some other meds.
that isn’t to say that it doesn’t work. it just depends on your skin type. the best thing to do, if you’re gonna spend money, is to go to the doc. generic doxycycline is only $10 (if you have insurance) which is cheaper than what you’d have to pay for proactiv.
I got it for my teenage sons, and they tried it with little enthusiasm, but after a very short time, they were reminding me when they were running low or need more. It worked wonders, their twin cousins, were amazed and made their mom go get them some. The teens in this family are like poster children for Proactive.
I have used it before. And I think it did work but pimples came on my face again as soon as I stopped using it and a few came up also when I was still using it. So its a good product but its not really a solution. It will be good until you stop using it.
Before you use any of this so called over the counter Acne medicine contact your doctor who can refer you to a dermatologyst to help you out in choosing the right medice for you. I know a friend who used Over the counter acne medicine when a tenager and because of it now she has to use a special cream because she developed a condition of dry skin from the use of the medicine. The doctor told her it would be hard to prove that the medicine was the cause because she never contacted a doctor or dermatologyst priour to start using it. So be carefull and protect your self
WELL I HAVE HEARD THAT IT DOES MY BOYFRIENDS FAMILY USED IT AND IT WORK WONDERS!
yes it does work if you follow the instructions like washing daily and treatment,
I have found that anything with salicylic acid works, these are gel cleansers or skin cleansers work just as well the only catch is to use it oftern daily or twice a day if you have to, it works for me.
Have a look here.
Well i have not used it, but my sister uses it and it completely cleared her face up. So it does work.
I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It’s time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!
Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:
1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.
There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.
my brothers use it and it works as long as u dont stop using it for a few days cuz then ur acne will get worse
yes it works as long as you use it as directed.
Acne Associated with Dairy Intake
A new Harvard study links dairy products to adolescent acne. A group of 47,000 women from the Nurses’ Health Study was asked to provide information about several aspects of their diet during high school as well as any incidence of physician-diagnosed severe teenage acne. Researchers noted a positive association with total milk and skim milk consumption, along with instant breakfast drinks, sherbet, cottage cheese, and cream cheese. No association was found with several other foods often thought to affect acne, including soda, french fries, chocolate candy, and pizza. The scientists postulate that hormones and bioactive ingredients found in milk may be responsible.

It’s wonderful. I’ve never found ANYTHING else to work. I HIGHLY reccomend it
i use it. its pretty good but you can’t just use it when you have an outbreak. when you start using it you must continue to use it. like every day. the 3 step thing with the cleanser the liquid stuff and the lotion every day twice a day but if you use like i said it can do some amazing stuff in like a week or too.!!
yes! and to be honest i found a less expensive brand at walmart called Acne Free it cost $18.00 and it works a lot better. I can’t live with out it!
I use it and it works. It says to use it in the morning and at night. But I only use it at night. And it cleared my face up within 3 days. I keeps my face moisturized also. It’s the perfect acne medicine. If you have a lot of acne I would highly recomend it.
I tried it for awhile when my mom was using it, and I’ve deduced that it’s not the actual product that makes your skin better, but the routine. You could use the product sporadically and it wouldn’t work for poo, but if you used it every day morning and night like they tell you to, of course it’ll work. Just do that with about any acne product and it’ll start working – it’s the routine!
it all depends on your skin type and what works well with it. something at the grocery store may work better than that stuff then again it may not but u have to try to find out
I didn’t get any results with it. But you know what they say, "Different strokes for different folks."
THEY R PHONY. ALL U NEEED TO DO IS USE RUBBING ALCOHOL. AND BABY POWDER. RUB THE ALCOHOL ON UR FACE THEN RUB BABY POWDER ON AFTERWARDS.
It does help. I used it before.. I found that at first it made my face look worse, then after about a week it got to looking better. But I still had problems with oily skin. Stress is a big factor in having acne, try to avoid stress.
I guess its diffrent on everybody …but it worked on me ….but it stoped working after a while ..kinda weird
i know you said personal experiences but my friend has it. she says it really works! i totally belive her.
my cuz had really bad acne… it worked for him…. i tried it …. nothing for me…. so i would suppose that it depends on you
no but I think it works!
YES! YES! YES!!!!!!! I’ve been using it and I LOVE!! IT!!! I have PCOS and have had awful skin since I was 11 (Im 31 now) I have tried EVERYTHING under the sun from OTC to perscription to herbal and not a single one of them worked as well as ProActive did! It worked faster and it worked better! I would buy it if it was 3 times the price it is!!! My skin is softer and feels incredible and looks fantastic!! I only tried it because I saw one of my coworkers skin go from bad to beautiful and she said it was what she was using!!!You have to use it every day though! If you slack off on your routine or start skipping steps it will stop working, I found that out the hard way. I slacked off for a month and only used it once every other day or so and I paid for it! Im back to 100% and my skin looks great again.
My only suggestion if you do try it is go to the drug store and get some Oil of Olay, Oil Free. ProActive did dry my skin a bit and putting on Oil of Olay once or twice a day fixed it for me. They do have a moisturizer you can buy through them, but Im a poor college student and have to set aside money every month to make sure I can get my refills. Once I graduate, I want to try their whole line of products.
Try it, you have nothing to loose! If it doesn’t work you can get your money back!
well try it for yourself.
