does ProActive Acne Solution actually work?
hey i dont have really bad acne or anything but i just want something to keep my skin clear all the time.. i’ve heard Proactive Solution is the best stuff out there. is that true?

Nope. It takes too long! But that is how they make money, the fact that you have to pay a monthly fee, means they want to keep you as a customer for as many months as possible! Capitalism.
Try this instead:
It’s okay. But the thing is after using it for a while, it wears down your palate (your skin’s natural shine) so your skin will start to look dull. The better thing to use I think is either Aveeno foaming Cleaner or Ambi Even and Clear, both have salicylic acid which is the best treatment for acne. I have used both and they both worked well and gave me a glow that my friends kept asking me about.
(Note: use one of the two, not both!)
I would also supplement that with the Aveeno moisturiser: Positively Radiant, which has soy that helps even out dark spots/blemishes and also has SPF 15. Also you can use the Aveeno Skin Brightener in the shower, as it will help exfoliate your skin (i.e. slough off the dead skin that will pores and form acne pimples).
Also try to drink lots of water, avoid greasy foods, and get enough sleep and exercise.
Also, your problem might be that you have sensitive skin in which case you have to be careful about what kind of make-up you use . . . use make-up that is oil-free or made for people with sensitive skin.
its different for everyone, for some people it work, some it stays the same, and sumtimes it gets worse
for me it didnt work at all and made no difference except made my skin splotchier
I guess it can’t work for everybody… It didn’t work for me, but many people love it. Try and see it for yourself.
i don’t have bad acne either i just use it to keep my skin clear, yeah it works but i still have pimples on my nose and stuff, but then again i don’t use it everyday , sometimes im too lazy too :p lol:]]
HMM..i TRiED iT && iT DiD NOTHiN FOR ME..i GUESS i WASN’T PATiENT WiTH iT. iF YOU’RE WiLLiN TO WAiT ABOUT…2 YEARS FOR YOUR FACE TO CLEAR UP..THEN iT’S GOOD..BUT iF YOU WANT FACE RESULTS..TRY SOMETHiN ELSE iNSTEAD OF WASTiNG YA MONEY.
It worked great for me, it didn’t dry out and make my face peel like other products did. I also think that taking the time out to wash my face everynight and apply the products helped tremendously because I had a habit of going to sleep with my makeup on. I would recommend it to anyone. I got mine from qvc.com so I wouldn’t have to sign up for the automatic "club" shipments that proactive makes u buy from their websites and u get more for your money. Good luck
I never got the amazing results they talk about on the commercials and stuff, but it definitely worked better for me than anything else ever has. That’s why I continue to use it, and although my skin is far from perfect, it has improved a lotttt. I would give it a try, I mean you never know.
It’s fairly costly but for someone who has tried a lot of product that hasn’t worked, it could prove worth it. My son used it very successfully. After about a year of consistent use, his skin seemed to adapt to it somehow and then it started not working as well. Maybe it had nothing to do with the product, rather that something else changed for him…more stress, whatever. Anyway….to asnwer your question…..yes, it is good product.
