Can dry-peeling skin from acne medicine hurt your tan?
Thіѕ іѕ a real tan i gοt, nοt fаkе. And i recently gοt ѕοmе pimples ѕο i hаνе bееn putting a lot οf benzoyl peroxide amongst οthеr things οn mу face tο gеt rid οf thеm аnd whеn i wash thе stuff οff mу face іѕ a bit dry wіth ѕοmе peeling..іѕ thіѕ hurting mу skins tan?
it’s not that it’s hurting your tan…it’s shedding your top layer of dermis. you need to use a good sun screen if you are going to use a benzoyl peroxide.

Yes. I used to have a really bad experience from acne. I was put on many different types of meds.. including benzoyl peroxide. Just like whenever skin peels, new skin is presented. There fore a tan that either has been there for months, or a tan from the other day.. it does not matter. When your skin peels.. like it or not your tan will disappear in those areas. If you choose to keep a tan you can use lotion that has slight self-tanner inside. The lotions for your body will not make you turn orange.
This will only help to moisterize your skin so you will not peel that much and so your skin doesnt turn blotchy from the places it peeled.
You can look at Longs, Rite-Aid, Walgreens, etc.
I know Jergens carries a really good lotion with a tanner inside.
