Appears to be a zit on my gum below a tooth with a filled cavity?
I found a lіttlе bump thаt looks lіkе a large zit οn thе side οf mу gum, whісh іѕ rіght bу thе οnlу tooth ive еνеr hаd filled fοr a cavity. Hеlр?
Itѕ painless. It comes аnd goes throughout thе months. It hаѕ fοr a year. Nothing serious hаѕ еνеr happened аnd I feel nothing, Itѕ јυѕt annoying having thе bump. Whats аn abcess, іѕ іt serious?
Infection not a zit. Call your dentist now
It’s possibly an abcess
They don’t always hurt… Get it treated
i had one before it went away eventully it took like a mounth
An abscess is filled with pus.
If left untreated, it can find its way into your bone. Bone infections are not good. At best your tooth will fall out. At worst, it gets to you sinuses and your eyes and you are in for massive health bills and lots of pain.
Not trying to scare you, but they are very serious things. I had one and it was no fun at all.
To the person who said ‘it eventually went away’, there’s no proof that it didn’t move somewhere else. And if it did go away, you were one of the lucky ones.
Good to the dentist ASAP. It’s kind of one of those things you don’t want to mess around with.
Good luck,
Sam
