Mу fiance used witch hazel tο combat hіѕ acne bυt іt seemed tο mаkе іt worse. Hе іѕ now trying salycylic acid аnd finds іt more effective?
Hаѕ anyone еlѕе experienced a reaction tο witch hazel?

Sometimes it’s just the type of skin you have. Tea tree oil is also meant to be good for acne but it dried my skin out completely and therefore my face was sore but also more spotty because the skin was be deprived of the natural oils and so creates more oil that just clog up the pores.
This could be the case for your fiance where witch hazel just doesn’t suit his skin type. The best thing to do is to go to a dermatologist or doctors to see what type of skin he has dry/combo etc and get a product that suits it.
Or just try a few different products but stop using them is any irritation/dryness is caused
