Acne treatment….?
Umm….Anytime I υѕе a vanishing cream οr οthеr acne treatment thing, even іf іt’s οnlу fοr a night, іt јυѕt seems tο mаkе everything worse thе next day….Sο thеn I ѕtοр using іt. Shouldn’t іt bе getting better?
Anу suggestions?
(Oh thе joys οf teenage skin.)
ive had acne since i was 10, or maybe earlier. ive been on zillions of prescriptions and few worked. many may seem like its worse the next day, but things cant work overnight really. acutane was the most effective, but youre in for at least 6 months of cracked bleeding lips, migranes, realllllly dry skin, etc. now that im 21, i still get acne, just not nearly as bad. i use bareminerals make up, it has a moisterizer that i use after ives washed my face and before i put on make up. they have a blemish treatment you can wear day and night that works as a cover up. their make up contains stuff in it to fight acne, but cover it up and make it look natural, i swear by, after going 10 years (half my life) with acne and embaressing skin. good luck, hope you find something to help! (fyi the make up is kind of pricey : (
ACUTANE
get u some proactive
me and my sister use poactive and we dont really get acne
lots of water!! and just wash ur face every nite thats all u can do
Try proactiv. It works for me!
Just wash your face in the morning and night with clearasil. Ask your doctor for some prescriptions they can give you to help that have been know to work good.
dude try to beat off six times a day…i did it…worked like a charm
you may be using something to harsh on your skin. try using gentle cleansers, and good moisturizers too (oil free tho). i use clean and clear morning burst scrub. its gentle and exfoiliates. and i use the oil free moisturizer that goes w/ it. i love them, and i rarely break out anymore. ive even used proactiv and i like this stuff better.
To be honest with you it did the same when I was a teenager. For some reason it would actually seem to intense the situation hours after using. I think what you should do is try to do it as soon as you are in for the night then do it right away thus giving it time. Also you can change acne treatments. To be honest with you I had it, not so bad, but bad enough that I would always have a pretty hardcore tan at school. This is because tanning will dry out the skin therefore getting rid of the acne for the most part. If all fails do that, look good, NICE TAN and NO ACNE. Good luck
visit a dermatologist so they can recommend a product for your skin type.
If you can’t afford one, then i suggest picking up benzaclin, its a product that has a high concentration of benzoyl peroxide which gets rid of acne (if this product doesn’t help, then try looking up a product that has a more intense concentration of this chemical or another chemical called retinoids which constantly exfoliate your skin),
all you need is a doctor to write you a prescription
Also, make sure to wash your face morning and night with a regular foaming cleanser and use spf 15 lotion to finish it off for those dry spots
And a scrub twice a week (you can get one for your skin type at CVS, Rite Aid, or any other local pharmacy)
hope this has helped!
I think this website http://www.acne.org has a great amount of information and video tutorials on how to take care of your face. Yes, you really should see how it is done. They also have a combination of treatments like Proactive, but less expensive. I have been using Proactive for years, and I have to say that using the methods that they recommend on acne.org has made a better impact than what Proactive has done alone.
