Acne Cure?
I hаνе ѕοmе mild acne οn mу forehead. It’s nοt tοο bаd, bυt i’d lіkе tο ѕtοр іt before іt gets worse. Cουld уου suggest аnу products, tips οr home remedies I сουld υѕе? Thanks!:)
I have the same problem!! Well, at least I think I do…. I am 13 and I break out along my forehead, chin and get black heads on my nose. Its not a horrible case, but who wants to walk around showcasing acne? Am I right? I have asked this question many times, to many different people. I have found that cutting back on sugars, greasy food, and drinking LOTS of water helps! Usually I am right on top of things, I have a HUGE case of OCD, but lately I have been a little lazy about my acne, not giving a care in the world, being ticked that it won’t go away, and doing that makes it gradually worse. Yes, STRESS! Don’t stress out, for most people that will make you break out really bad! When I was about 11 1/2 I started getting acne, and once I started getting it I put a mask on every other night, I have found that it works VERY well! Also, don’t keep with the same face cleanser for too long. I am not dermatoligist, but I guess bacteria can find its way around the face wash if you use it for too long. So change it at least every 2-4 months… so just when you run out of your face wash! Be sure to eat your vegitables, and fruits! It seriously helps! Also, this may sound really gross, but put toothpaste and honey on your face!! Don’t wear too much makeup, completely wash your face, morning and night. Use hot water to wash your face, then run a cold damp cloth over your face to close your pours. Make sure to be excercising! And carry a CLEAN cloth with you to wipe the sweat off your face!!! WASH your cloths, sheets, and pillow case very often!! One last thing, I have found that using peroxide on my face works!! GOOD LUCK!!! Its a hard process, but beautiful skin is SO worth it!!

This mask should help, mix 1 tablespoon of dried or fresh yeast with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice; apply on face, wait until it gets hard (try not to move), peel or wash with warm water.Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.
Just read a book called the Clear Skin Diet. In it, the authors found some studies that show certain nutrients play a significant role in reducing acne.
For example, in one instance, the authors found a study in which a combination of fish oil and Gamma-linoleic acid prevented acne causing hormones as well as a prescription called Zileuton.
In another instance found in the book, it stated that:
"A synergistic combination of vitamins A and E was employed with a high degree of success that it eliminated the necessity of antibiotic"
Interesting stuff. Actually what got me looking into this is a website I stumbled across:
http://www.clearskinsecret.com
I found it thought-provoking and made me go out and find out as much as I can about nutrition and the relationship to acne… and I have some suspicion it might be the authors who are promoting this!
After reading that site, then buying the book, I’ve come to the conclusion that some nutrients and vitamins can actually help your acne, while others like Iodine may (or may not) cause more acne.
Some other vitamins found to be effective against acne are:
-Chromium
-Selenium
-Zinc
-Vitamin B
-Probiotics
-Natural anti-oxidants
I’ve found that after eating this vitamins consistently while eating a balanced, dairy-free, sugar-free diet my acne significantly improved. That’s just me – I hope it will help for
you.
Hope this helps.
