I was wondering how many people saw significant to complete improvement in their acne as a result of birth control… anyone?

Something i can buy at the store. I have combination skin and i touch my face a lot. I also have The acne bumps that hurt i think they’re called nodules. Im currently using BiorĂ© pore unclogging scrub. The first time i used it i noticed the difference but now i can’t tell the difference as much as last time. I get mose acne on my chin and cheeks. As not as severe acne as other people but i have a couple of acne scars.

i know that everyones skin is different. but i want to see what really works :)

if you used to have acne and dont anymore, please share.

thanks to everyone on y!a

I’ve had acne on my back, chest, and shoulders for several years now and I want it to go away pretty soon. I rarely work out, sweat, or wear tight clothing, so it can’t be of excess oil and irritation. What other methods are there, or do you have any recommendations?

I am a girl that has slight acne that is going away but I am need tips for some of the scars that are left.

Ok well i don’t have bad-severe acne just a few (especially on my forehead) and I just don’t like it and I’ve been watching these comercials on tv lately and I’ve been thinking about giving these products a try: Proactiv, Skind ID, or Acne Complex. I do buy some neutrogena from wal-mart every now and than.

Have any of ya tried any of these products?

Is drinking plenty of water good for the skin?

I have been using Proactive for a couple months now. I used to use it on my whole face but then after about a month of using it it dried my cheek out HORRIBLY. I started putting the Repairing Lotion on that area, which only made it worse. So I stopped using it all together for a week or two. But then my acne got worse and I only used it in problem areas and without the repairing lotion. It keeps my acne somewhat under control but it is still pretty bad and I get frequent outbreaks.

Acne has never been a huge issue for me, but for the time it was, it was mainly on my chest and upper back. There are only minor small round scars there, but they haven’t much diminished. I’d kind of like to get rid of them. Is there a body wash or lotion (lotion that wont STICK to my clothes) that will help reduce these scars? Thanks.

I have a lot of scars from popping pimples (I can’t help it) and I breakout sometimes with either one big pimple or small whiteheads. Would Proactive benefit me or is there another treatment out there?
